Gena is a Syrian-Mexican-American comedian and writer based in Los Angeles.
She’s currently a regular at the Hollywood Improv, the Westside Comedy Theater, The Crow, and a plethora of indie venues around LA. She co-produces Hilarious Habibis, a nationally touring standup showcase that spotlights Middle Eastern talent. The show sells out venues all across the country and was featured in the Chicago Tribune, Philadelphia Weekly, and Arab News. Gena has made a splash in the festival circuit: she’s showcased for Just For Laughs New Faces and has performed in the Netflix Is A Joke Festival, the New York Comedy Festival, Boise Treefort Fest, Cleveland Comedy Fest, and SF Sketchfest.
Gena performs comedy several times a week and you can catch her doing sets at major clubs around town as well as in various bars, cafes, garages, basements, and back-alleys. Hope you’re into that!
